How to use this resource

Start here — 🎥 a ~10 minute intro video by Sara @ REPLY-ALL

There are two ways to do this exercise, it just depends how much time you have, and how important you think this exercise is.

Quickie:

Asses just 5-10 technologies you are most & least happy with, filling out this table.

Estimated time: 1 hour.

Go deep:

Clicking each tool name will open up another page to dive deeper on each tool, reviewing the billing and charges further, your usage, and features further.

Estimated time: 15-30 minutes per tool.

After you Audit: Next Step Suggestions

  1. Do nothing = amazing, your tech is working for you
  2. Downgrade or clean = downgrading is fairly quick, cleaning up is not. Set aside some time in your calendar, or nominate a teammate to help you clean up inactive users.
  3. Explore Upgrade = within the tech “page” above, copy and paste the upgrade plan details including the extra cost and the extra features you’d get. Then make a call on if it’s worth it!
  4. Seek Alternative = you want to set aside some time to compare to similar tools to see if there’s a better fit. If this is overwhelming to you, consult someone (like me!) to help.
  5. Review Further = this tag means you likely need to ask around to your team to see who’s using it, not using, how they’re using it.
  6. Training Plan = you or your team could use some upskilling to use this tool to it’s fullest potential. You can do this on your own, seeking out resources & online training from the tool itself (i.e. Hubspot Academy), or you can reach out to a service (like mine) to make a custom training plan for you.
